Installation of Air Conditioning

Pure Air Conditioning specialise in the installation of fixed system air conditioning. We supply and install manufacturers brands that are leading the way in quality airconditioning systems including: Mitsibushi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Toshiba, LG, Sanyo and Hitachi.

There are a variety of products and manufacturers available and unfortunately there are some that prove to be rather problematic and unreliable. Pure Air Conditioning tests all manufacturers before committing to using there products so there are no hidden surprises for our valued customers.

Our fitted system air conditioning options include:

Ducting Air Conditioning System Cassette Unit Air Conditioning Wall Mounted Air Conditioning System Floor Unit Air Conditioning System

Air conditioning via a choice of ceiling grilles from a central unit. Cassette units are best installed in a room with a false or suspended ceiling. Wall mounted air conditioning units. This unit is used when there is no ceiling void or wall space.

Ducted Air Conditioning System

Ducted air conditioning units are designed to be completely concealed, whereby the customer sees nothing other than inconspicous air diffusers in the ceiling.

The unit is mounted, as the cassette, above a ceiling and ductwork is installed to carry the air to the diffusers. This provides for a very comfortable environment and good coverage of the room or space.

Ducted air conditioning systems are ideal for both the domestic and office environments.

Cassette Unit Air Conditioning

Cassette units are best installed in any room with a false or suspended ceiling. They are aesthetically pleasing on the eye as they fit flush into a false ceiling.

This cassette unit is often used in offices and is fixed from the roof above a ceiling void with the white four way fascia being the only part of the unit you see. They tend to take longer to install than a wall or floor mounted unit but they distribute airflow more efficiently in four directions, providing better coverage and a more gentle air flow.

Wall Mounted Air Conditioning System

This type of unit is often used for residential, server rooms, restaurants and office applications. The units can be mounted at the desired level from floor to ceiling. It is quick to install and where multiple indoor units are required, they can be connected to a single external condenser box

Floor Unit Air Conditioning System

A floor unit is best used when there is no ceiling void or no wall space. It is slightly more expensive to buy than a wall unit but takes about as long to install. It is a little like a radiator except it blows hot or cold air rather than using water.

Next Steps

The good thing about air conditioning is its flexibility. You can run any of the above fixed air conditioning systems from one outdoor condensing unit, which is know as a single split. Alternatively you can run a number of indoor units from one outdoor unit, know as a multi split.

It’s even possible to run up to 32 indoor units from one outdoor unit which is termed variable refrigerant flow (VRF) commonly used in hotel applications.
The key questions to consider when planning your installation are:

• What type of indoor unit style do you prefer?
• Where can the outdoor unit be located?
• How long would the interconnecting pipes have to be?
• Can one use a gravity drain to run away the condensation or will it require a pump?
• Does the building or property house the necessary power requirements?
• How large is the room or area?
• What is the room used for?
