Portable air conditioners are excellent for children’s rooms
Most of us are aware of the fact that children are pretty restless, especially when they have to wait to eat in a restaurant, are shopping with parents or are waiting for school to end. Children can sometimes be unruly and behave badly as they do not get the things they want.
At home, during warm and humid weather, children complain a lot, mostly because they are prevented from switching on the air conditioner. It can be frustrating for a lot of parents when they have to adhere to their monthly budgets and children complain about their ‘stinginess’ in refusing to use the air conditioner. In addition, with the growing cost of household commodities and the economic slowdown, the household budget can get a little tight.
However, portable air conditioners prove to be an effective solution, providing cool air, as well as minimising the impact on your monthly household budget. Portable air conditioners allow you to enjoy the best of both worlds – lower energy bills and cool air.
Your children will definitely enjoy a portable air conditioner and at times you can use it in your own bedroom, as it can be moved easily to different rooms without much effort.

Simon, you are spot-on with this application idea for a portable AC. One of the biggest complaints I hear from our customers is the ‘hot spots’ that exist in their homes during summer months – particularly in southern parts of the US. Perhaps I am somewhat biased having worked for a company selling portable air conditioners, but I swear it has helped my son sleep through the night since we added one to his room last August.

Children get easily irritated with hot temperature and so they would prefer feeling cold with air conditioning at home. A portable air conditioner would be best to be placed in their homes.
